Hey August 3rd is BC Day! Here is a tea towel to celebrate.

In 2025 CBC Radio did a summer segment to come up with the best symbol to represent BC. I based this towel on a lot of the symbols they talked about. There were so many more to choose from but I had to narrow it down to 12. ~Sa

This tea towel is kind of different as it is a compilation of my ideas and Elf Syliva’s. While we waited out a snow storm during a wholesale show in Toronto back in January we came up with this idea. Even if it is not your favourite, know that Elf Sylvia and I had a lot of fun laughing at all the possible abbreviations for this towel.

My friend Lexa is very into pickleball and we sat down for a chat with a bag of cheesies between us. She gave me a lot of information about the game (it is quite complicated), and this is what I came up with for a design.
